Auchen Castle is located in Dumfries & Galloway, the gateway to Scotland. The perfect way to start or end your break.
Set in 35 acres of formal gardens and woodland, Auchen Castle, the former home of Sir William Younger, retains many of its original period features as well as breathtaking views over the Moffat Hills. Auchen Castle has 25 bedrooms, 15 of which are situated within the original castle, some with four poster beds.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Once on the m74, come off at Junction 15 (Moffat/Beattock). At the slip road we are sign posted, follow the signs and go onto the b7076. We are approximately one and a half miles from the motorway.
